DIZIAC

DESIGN BRIEF
Sarah Jessica Parker teamed up with shoes sale vendor like, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahniks, European chocolate makers along with various jewelry designers to venture in opening a store that caters to women’s love for jewelry, shoes and chocolates. The design goal is to create a temptaciously sophisticated store. A shopping environment that will fit right in to Rodeo Drive and New York’s 5th Ave.

Diziac,(dee-zee-ac). The name is choosen from the word aphrodisiac, know to us from a varity of food that stimulates sexual desires. To the Greek Goddess of love lust and beauty, Aphrodite, serves as an inspiration. Visual research started through exsisting magazine ads for jewelry, fine italian textile (dedar), the interior of Westminster Abbey, and respected chocolate vendors like Godiva and Lindt Lindor. From all the collected images we compiled, the contrasting words “delicate” and “powerful” explains it all. Delicate but powerful is seen especially inside Westmiste
SEA TURLE PROTECTION SOCIETY

DESIGN BRIEF
The Sea Turtle Protection Society is based in Greece, working mostly for sea turtles living in the Mediterranean Sea.
The society needed a logo to compliment their care free personality that also showed their professionalism in saving and caring for sea turtles.  With this new logo they plan to get their name on the map, and to recieve additional support from
their community and expand internationally.

Sea turtle logos were researched, and a variety of images were chosen of the sea turtle’s patterned shell and flippers from various perspectives.  Approaching the sea turtle image from a different angle, The Sea Turtle Protection Society’s new logo is uniquely dynamic in composition, and features a type choice immersed with a truly hospitable personality.

WHIM-A-ROUND

DESIGN BRIEF
California Creations is a toy company specializing in wind-up toys. Inspired by the simple tagline,
“Winding your imagination,” California Creations is proud of hightening childrens’ creative imagination.
Twenty new wind-up toys hit stores during the holiday season. Before the launch of the new line of
wind-ups, a new look was proposed for their packaging.

From this proposed change of packaging then comes the idea of a full re-branding to incoporate the
look and feel of great creativity and imagination. The package of three wind-up toys was named
Whim-a-round. Using the typeface, Bauhaus 93,Whim-a-round then becomes a wind up key. This logo
was push forward becuase it works well for unlocking the impossible.
